Wish recipients must be diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, between the ages of 18-40 and facing a terminal diagnosis by their physician. We define terminal as having 1 year or less to live. Your Shay Sharpe’s Pink Wishes packet will contain a form to be given to your treating physician, to ensure that you are healthy enough to participate in your wish. To request a wish, mail or e-mail your written wish, a current photo and a copy of your state issued ID to Shay Sharpe’s Pink Wishes. We ask that you request two wishes, just in case we have a problem granting one, we will grant the other.

Wishes must be requested by the wish recipient only. This must be your only wish being granted by a wish granting organization. Once you submit your request you are giving Shay Sharpe’s Pink Wishes permission to share your request with potential wish granters and social media. We are currently unable to grant wishes for cash, medical bills, automobiles, legal fees, co-pays, property and large animals.

Natasha

Natasha's wish was to go to New York City. She passed away at age 35 before her wish could be granted, so we sponsored her son that year for Christmas instead.
Lindsay

Lindsay gained her wings in 2019. She was a beloved friend and volunteer for Shay Sharpe's Pink Wishes. We will forever look over her sweet daughter Alice.

Crystal
Crystal gained her wings in 2015. We granted for her three children.

Tyrine
Tyrine gained wings in 2016. SSPW granted Christmas Wishes for her 5 children, every year since 2015 and will do so until age 18.

Nikki
Nikki gained her wings at age 23. She had breast cancer twice. The photoshoot that we gifted her with, ended up being the only photo in her obituary. SSPW granted her son Christmas Wishes for years after she passed away.
- Christmas Wishes -
Shay Sharpe’s Pink Wishes grants Christmas Wishes to children of local moms undergoing breast cancer treatment during the holidays, and to children whose moms previously had a relationship with SSPW, prior to having their life stolen by breast cancer.
Team SSPW takes great pride in Christmas Wishes as it is our favorite holiday! We ensure that every child has a minimum of 3 nice outfits, pajamas, hats, gloves, books, socks, coats, underwear, shoes, toys, games, learning instruments, crafts and various other goodies. Because most of our monetary donations come from everyday people, we take pride in finding sales on everything we buy, so our dollars can go further. Team SSPW can’t thank our donors enough for their love and dedication to this project. SSPW takes care of our Wish Kids up until age 18 and if they desire to attend college afterwards we will provide a scholarship as well.
- Play Dates -
Team SSPW sets up play dates with our SSPW kids who currently have a mom undergoing cancer treatment or those who no longer have a mom. The SSPW play dates gives children an opportunity to learn a skill and spend time with other kids who know exactly what they are going through.
- SSPW’s Dana G. Robinson Scholarship Fund -
Scholarships are given annually to high school seniors or college students who have lost a mom to breast cancer.
